On the morning of April 24, 2013, one of the worst disasters ever to strike the garment industry took place when an eight story factory collapsed at Savar, a sub-district in the Greater Dhaka Area in Bangladesh. More than 1,100 workers died on that day.
we wanted to do something to help that community. One of our partners and factory owners approached us to start a school cum vocational training center to meet the needs of that community.
We are happy to announce that on January 25, 2015, we have opened the Soham for All Center Of HOPE and Vocational Training Center at Savar. Fifty kindergarten students arrived for the first day of school at the Soham for All Center of HOPE. We have also introduced Computer Training Center at the same time. We are expecting to grow this Center more in coming years.
